The Waldo Farmers Market
Visitors attend the Waldo Farmers Market to browse the variety of vendors selling wares that range from fresh fruit and vegetables to antiques and low-priced furniture. The market is one of the most famous in north-central Florida and it’s a big draw on the weekends for Waldo. The market has been running for more than 40 years and boasts 900 vendors spread over 90 acres. Looking for $1 DVDs from the past? – Come on down. Want to buy 20 farm-fresh eggs for $6? – Those are available, too. Funnel cakes? Of course. The Waldo Flea Market, at 17805 U.S. Highway 301, is open on the north side of the city from roughly 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekend.
